TOP COSMETIC FILLERS
Radiesse is a dermal filler that is FDA-approved to smooth moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). Radiesse is also used to correct volume loss in the back of the hands.
Radiesse is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. Immediately, this filler works to add volume under the skin.
The benefits of Radiesse continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen. The natural results have been shown to last a year or more in many patients, making the treatment results both immediate and long lasting.
Restylane Lyft is a dermal filler used to treat wrinkles. Formerly known as Perlane, Restylane Lyft has technically been on the market since 2015. Both contain a plumping substance called hyaluronic acid (HA), but in different amounts.
Restylane Lyft is primarily used for adding lift to cheeks, smoothing smile lines, and adding volume to the backs of hands. Restylane Lyft consists of individual injections that contain hyaluronic acid, lidocaine, and water. The combination of HA and water creates a plumping effect, which adds volume beneath your skin upon injection. This helps to temporarily smooth out wrinkles in the target area. Future follow-up treatments are necessary to help maintain these effects.
The addition of lidocaine in Restylane Lyft helps to minimize any pain during the procedure. This can also help save time, as you won’t need to wait for a separate pain reliever to take effect before each treatment.
Each Restylane Lyft injection is performed with a fine-needle syringe in the target area. Due to the addition of lidocaine, these injections shouldn’t be painful.
The injections take only a few minutes at a time. Depending how many injections you’re getting, you may only be in the office for 15 minutes. More injections can take up to one hour.
You’ll likely start seeing the effects of Restylane Lyft shortly after the procedure. It works quickly to plump up the skin, though the full effects may not be noticeable for a few days.
On average, Restylane Lyft lasts for 8 to10 months. Your individual results may vary. Follow-up treatments after this time frame may be needed to maintain your desired results.
You can return to most of your normal activities following Restylane Lyft treatments. You should also avoid excessive sun exposure.
Juvederm is a family of injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to provide 9 months to one year of correction for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth). It is also used for lip augmentation.
Juvederm products are a smooth consistency gel, compared to some hyaluronic gel products that have a granular consistency. Juvederm products are developed using the Hylacross technology to allow a smoother, malleable gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. Hyaluronic acid works by holding in water at the injection site and acting as a cushioning agent. It adds temporary volume and a smoother appearance to skin. Most patients need more than one treatment to achieve optimal results.
Juvederm is injected directly into the skin with a fine needle. Juvederm products contain the local anesthetic lidocaine to help lessen discomfort during injection, or your provider may choose to numb the site prior to injection.
We also now carry Juvederm Volbella for lips.
DERMAGEN PERMANENT FILLER
Dermagen is a polymeric (long-chain) compound of natural silica and oxygen. During manufacture, the silica is melted at a temperature of 2,000 F, stripped of free radicals, purified and sterilized. Dermagen is used medically in the form of a “filler agent” which is resistant to body fluids, permeable to oxygen and is not rejected by the body. Injecting Dermagen greatly diminishes wrinkles by providing support to the collagen under the depressions.
The Dermagen can be used for:
--Permanent lip augmentation
--Frowning lines between eyebrows
--Chin and cheek augmentation
--Rejuvenating aged skeletal looking hands
--Restoration of lost volume to certain scars from accidents or acne
Dermagen is done as an outpatient treatment, under topical anesthesia (numbing spray).
BOTOX AND DYSPORT
DUE TO A NATION WIDE SHORTAGE, WE HAVE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED ALL BOTOX® / DYSPORT® INJECTIONS!!!
Please see our other great filler options!
When it comes down to the similarities and differences between BOTOX® / DYSPORT®, both of these products are injected into facial muscles in order to relax the muscles. This means that a person is left with smooth skin. When they do not have as many deep creases in their face, they look younger, they feel better about themselves and other people notice that they have a more vibrant appearance.
When you come in for your first consultation, our medical professionals are going to thoroughly examine the areas that you would like to have treated and then they are going to make a decision based on their knowledge and experience. We have found that BOTOX® may be better for treating certain types of dynamic wrinkles, while DYSPORT® may be more effective for other types. The best product for you really depends on your unique situation.
Getting BOTOX® takes only a few minutes and no anesthesia is required. BOTOX® is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles with only minor discomfort.
Regarding the results of BOTOX® / DYSPORT®, most individuals who receive either treatment are going to enjoy the benefits for three or four months. However, after that time period, they’re going to have to return to our office in order to have their dynamic wrinkles treated again. It is important to note, however, that results vary from patient to patient.
